What is the Silent Auction?
For the Silent Auction, participants donate items to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. A photo and detailed description of each item will be displayed in the IMAPS '99 Exhibit Hall area on its own "Bid Board" along with an official bid sheet. Interested bidders will write on the official bid sheet a bid offer for the item, which is equal to or greater than the minimum specified bid. At the conclusion of the 1999 Symposium & Exposition each item will be awarded to the highest bidder.
