Specifications for IMAPS publications
All publications have a trim size of 8
1/2"x 11". For bleed, please allow 1/8" trim on all four sides. Vital elements must be kept 1/4" away from all edges. Live material in facing pages should not be closer than 1/4" to center fold. Advancing Microelectronics is sheet-fed printed
on machine coated stock and is saddle stitched. Page is three columns, each 2-1/4" wide.
Preferred materials for sheet-fed printing are high density litho film negatives, right reading, emulsion side down, 133 to 175 line screen. Show register, bleed and trim marks on all sides. Two page spread film must be in one page units. Conversion of advertisements to preferred materials, as well as other production charges, will be charged at cost plus handling.
IMAPS Standard colors include AAAA red, blue and yellow only. Color print rotation is black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. All black and white film must be accompanied by one Velox print. All two color film must have a color key provided. Process color materials must be accompanied by a match print, chromalin or progressive proof pulled from the final film.
If an advertiser does not supply materials agreed to by closing date, the advertiser may be charged for insertion without ad appearing or be charged prevailing rates to create needed materials. Ad film will be stored by publisher for 12 months, then destroyed unless otherwise advised.
Commission
15% to agencies on space, bleed, color, and position charges only, provided amount is paid within 30 days of invoice date. No cash discount. No commission is allowed on other charges such as production costs, conversions, typesetting, binding, inserts, back up, reprints, etc.
Payment Policy
Invoices are mailed upon publication of issue. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. A charge of 1-1/2% per month will be applied to all unpaid balances 30 days or older. IMAPS reserves the right to hold the advertiser and/or agency jointly liable for payment due. IMAPS reserves the right to cancel future insertion orders in the event of late payment.
